In-Home Fitting Merchant Addendum · summary
- A LABAU member tries on the Merchant's clothing and shoes at home for ninety minutes. The Merchant places a pre-authorized hold through its own processor before the pieces leave the store, then charges only for what the member keeps.
- LABAU delivers, collects, and returns. LABAU takes no fee or commission and never holds purchase funds.
- The Merchant designates eligible pieces and may exclude any piece, category, designer, or leased department.
- The Merchant inspects returned pieces by the close of the next business day; pieces not inspected by then are treated as accepted.
- A returned piece that cannot be sold as new is charged to the member at the Fitting Record price. Pieces kept carry the Merchant's own return policy.
